Stanton House conquer the Yorkshire Three Peaks. Raising over £4,250 for GOSH.

Challenge complete! After 25 miles of gruelling gradient all members of our 16 strong team completed the challenge within the 12 hour time limit. The generous support we have received has been incredible with over £4,250 already raised for Great Ormond Street Hospital. The money will help GOSH to continue their inspirational and world-class care to hundreds of children every day.

Here are the thoughts of some of our jubilant mountaineers:

Kieran Adie (LinkedIn)

“Without doubt the toughest mental and physical challenge I have ever done! Nothing could have prepared me for the steepness and relentlessness of the peaks – it was long, gruelling and at times exhausting challenge. It was a great experience and one that I would certainly tackle again. That feeling at the end was one of great satisfaction and relief – it’s something I will remember for a very long time!”

Roberta Thomas (LinkedIn)

“A fantastic effort by all, definitely something out of my comfort zone but thanks to all the team for helping me through to the bitter end – couldn’t have done it without them,- have to say the drink at the end was the nicest tasting cider I’ve ever had!“

Mandy White (LinkedIn)

“The most challenging physical activity I have ever undertaken – almost 12 hours of hiking and climbing mountains – but what a triumphant feeling to have completed it! Also, I’m sure how I felt is not a patch on how some of the children feel that the money raised will support.”

Robert Sackett (LinkedIn)

“What a day! The weather gods were certainly kind to us, not sure I would have enjoyed the challenge as much in the pouring rain. Tired legs at the end but a great sense of achievement and all for a fantastic charity.”

We certainly could not have completed the challenge without the assistance of Life Changing Challenges as they pushed us all the way to the finish line. Their founder, Nathan Money, even had some very kind words to share “Congratulations once again and I really hope you enjoyed the event as much as we did, you were part of a FANTASTIC team with bucket loads of positivity.”

You can still donate to GOSH by visiting our Just Giving team page and the big question is, what should we do next…
