Life at Stanton House: Danielle Palmer - Regional Office Manager

Danielle Palmer - Stanton HouseDanielle joined Stanton House in 2015 and is our Regional Office Manager. Danielle provides a high level of administrative support across our Reading and Guildford offices, assisting four teams within the Accounting & Finance division.

Stanton House (SH): Why did you join Stanton House?

Danielle Palmer (DP): I decided to join Stanton House as I believed as a company they really cared about their staff and their customers equally. Since I've joined, I've seen first-hand that Stanton House really is built on relationships and we all truly believe in our company values which are lived and breathed daily.

SH: What makes Stanton House a great place to work?

DP: Everyone that works here is obsessed with feedback and trying to improve. We constantly survey our customers to ensure that we are providing an exceptional customer experience and there is a big sense of pride having positive feedback from a customer put up on the big screens next to your name! There are also internal surveys to find out how employees feel about Stanton House, allowing the management team to try and improve the working environment. This commitment to both ensures Stanton House is an excellent place to work.

SH: What bit of advice would you give to someone who is starting out in a support role within recruitment?

(DP): To be able to deliver high-quality results in a support role you must be organised, thorough and have the determination to help the company grow and improve in all areas. Support team members see the business in a unique view and this can lead to successful processes and ideas implemented into the business.

If you are deciding whether a support role within a sales environment is right for you, you need to have total confidence that the management team value the support function and fee-earners the same. We wouldn't be able to work without each other and I would advise people to join a support role/team where everyone pulls together to win as it will make everything you do a lot more enjoyable.
