Finance Business Partner needed for a global FMCG brand in the Berkshire area.

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Finance Business Partner to join a global FMCG brand based in the Berkshire area.

This role would be ideal for an individual looking to work for a global brand with the opportunity to leave your footprint and make a difference. Partnering closely with assigned counterparts in the Sales team, this individual will have a direct impact on influencing commercial strategy, providing expert advice regarding investment opportunities and highlighting performance concerns. This is a fantastic opportunity and provides the perfect way for an individual who thrives off being at the front line of decision making and building extensive networks.

To successfully deliver in this high-profile position, you will need to:

* Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
* Have experience in an FMCG or Retail/Consumer-led environment.
* Have a strong track record of development and desire to stretch capabilities.
* Be a good commercial judgement and excellent investment appraisal skills.
* Be intellectually strong and a good strategic thinker.
* Have strong presentation and communication skills with an ability to recommend clear decisions.
* The ability to liaise confidently and assertively with all levels within the company.
* Independent and self-sufficient, with the ability to cope effectively under pressure.

A little more information about the role:

* Lead collaborative financial and analytical leadership to assigned sales account teams and deliver the annual net revenue, profit and share plans.
* Partner with account teams to build their annual net revenue plans and where appropriate assess business plans with key customers, including post deal evaluation, customer & category performance and lessons for future activity.
* Challenging senior stakeholders on a regular basis, regularly suggesting improvements and demonstrating excellent people development skills.
* Highlight future performance concerns and opportunities whilst taking a lead in evaluating investments.
* Oversee period close process and provide understanding and insight in to performance, including accruals.
* Provide coaching to various members of the Finance and Sales teams.
