At Stanton House we are aware of our responsibilities to our local communities and of the importance to give a little back where we can.
Our Corporate Social Responsibility Committee organise a well-supported programme of fund raising and voluntary activity and are proactive in generating enthusiastic participation!
We encourage our people to take some time out to undertake such voluntary activities and we fund this appropriately. Here is a short video providing a little insight into this activity:
Stanton House supports EducAid
EducAid is a UK registered charity that promotes and provides high quality, holistic education among the underprivileged and war affected young people of Sierra Leone. We believe that the education of young men and women is essential to: unlock human potential, overcome poverty, improve wellbeing, build democracy, and that it is the cornerstone of stable development. Our efforts in 2016
On the 20th August 2016 a Stanton House team braved treacherous conditions to tackle Ullswater in support of EducAid. Even in the middle of a British summer no-one expected torrential rain, heavy fog and winds of 50mph.
Bakers of Stanton House
As part of our continued support for educational network EducAid, our Reading office held very well received bake sales raising £319 for EducAid, whilst our London office held a hotly contested bake-off.
Our efforts in 2015
On 5th September 2015 our 16 strong team conquered 25 miles of gruelling gradient to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
The generous support we have received has been incredible with over £4,400 raised. You can find out more about this adventure on our blog.
