A fast-growing, private equity-backed healthcare business with a multi-site presence is seeking a dynamic CFO to join their leadership team.

Based in London, this organization is dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare services across a network of locations, with ambitious plans for further growth and expansion.

Role Overview: The CFO will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy and operational execution of the business, working closely with the CEO and private equity partners. They will be responsible for leading all financial operations, driving strategic financial initiatives, and ensuring robust financial governance across the organization's portfolio of healthcare sites.

This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for a strong finance professional with experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments, particularly within healthcare or multi-site operations.

Key Requirements:

  • ACA with a strong technical grounding in audit
  • Experience in multi-site businesses, ideally within the healthcare sector
  • Strong technical finance expertise, coupled with strategic leadership capabilities
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to balance operational management and high-level strategy
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with investors, board members, and operational teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the finance function, overseeing all financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities
  • Develop and execute financial strategies to support business growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability
  • Provide strategic financial insights and analysis to the CEO, board, and investors, supporting key business decisions
  • Oversee cash flow management, working capital optimization, and capital expenditure
  • Ensure strong financial governance, compliance, and risk management across the organization
  • Partner with the operations and commercial teams to drive performance improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Lead the integration of financial operations for newly acquired sites and businesses
  • Liaise with private equity stakeholders, managing investor relations, financial reporting, and performance metrics
