Stanton House is partnering with a Private Equity-backed retailer to recruit an Interim Head of Finance. This dynamic organisation, with revenues of approximately £400 million, has recently acquired a prominent high street brand. As the Interim Head of Finance, you will take on a pivotal leadership role, overseeing the financial operations of the newly acquired subsidiary for an initial period of six months. There is also the potential for this position to transition into a permanent role, offering long-term career opportunities within this highly successful PE backed organisation.

As the Interim Head of Finance, you will be responsible for optimising the trading, performance and operations of this newly acquired business. Alongside this, you will be accountable for the following:

Act as a strategic finance business partner to the Managing Director, delivering insightful performance reporting and analysis.
Oversee the budgeting, planning, and forecasting processes to ensure accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
Lead initiatives to enhance operational finance efficiency and streamline processes.
Develop comprehensive business cases for new projects and provide strong support for the M&A pipeline.
Manage capital expenditure, ensuring optimal efficiency and alignment with the organisation's growth strategy.

To be suitable, you must have the following

Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA)
Experience in working in Hospitality , FMCG, retail or multisite businesses
Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting and management accounts.
Prior experience of driving efficiencies around reporting or operational processes
Able to start within 1 month
Strong communication skills and be able to influence board members
