Dentsu International (previously Dentsu Aegis Network) is a multinational media and digital marketing communications company headquartered in London, and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Japanese advertising firm Dentsu.
Its principal services are communications strategy, media planning and buying, sports marketing and content creation.
It is a highly acquisitive organisation, having grown significantly over the years; predominantly through buying a variety of mid-sized media agencies.
The subsidiary made the decision to embark on a finance transformation to standardise processes and create a more cost effective and value-add finance function.
The transformation was to be underpinned by shifting to an outsourced Shared Service Centre and implementing Microsoft Dynamics AX as their new
ERP.
Stanton House was asked to build and resource the finance transformation programme.
Stanton House partnered with key stakeholders to scope out the programme and understand the timings and people resources that would be needed
along the way.
The nature of the transformation called for niche roles with a blend of Finance and IT skills.
We recruited a Programme Director to run the finance transformation and have since gone on to successfully place over 100 people at Dentsu.
Roles have included Global Process Owners (O2C & R2R), Finance ERP, Project Managers, Data Migration specialists, Project Managers, PMO
specialists, Change Managers and Business Analysts.
