Senior FP&A Analyst

Senior FP&A Analyst being hired for global Advertising & Media business in London!

£60,000 - £70,000 + Bonus + Benefits + Hybrid working

Stanton House are proud to be partnering with a global advertising & media business in central London who are looking to hire a Senior FP&A Analyst for their Group finance function. You will report to the Group FP&A Manager and help drive commercial insights to build a world class FP&A function. You will work three days a week in central London in a stylish office, roof top bar included, and two days a week from home. I am looking to speak to either ACA qualified accountants who have trained in practice and are looking for their first move into industry, someone who has already moved into industry and is working in a financial reporting or FP&A role or a CIMA qualified accountant who is currently working in FP&A in a large, complex business.

How you'll make an impact

  • Prepare the monthly actuals reporting, fulfilling the deadlines set out by group
  • Assist with the development of group reporting, including analysis of revenue and profitability
  • Ensure the reporting produced is accurate, including analysis of variances where relevant
  • Assist with building insightful reports, and investigate and highlight performance trends and variances, accompanied by meaningful commentaries
  • Highlight any risks and opportunities to the budget / forecast to the Group FP&A Manager as soon as they become identifiable
  • Ensure that any forex impact on revenues and costs for the relevant areas are correctly understood, and the impact is reflected in actuals reporting.
  • Act as a storyteller, through planning, designing, and producing visual reports with commentary and insights to help build a world class FP&A function
  • Provide the business with insight into business performance, profitability, and margin analysis
  • Continuously seek to improve processes, controls, and the quality of deliverables
  • Support on Board and Investor presentations
  • Support project work, and ensure a continuous improvement focus within the business

What we're looking for

  • Professional finance qualification, ACA/CIMA
  • Strong prioritisation, analytical, and organisational skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Proven record within a complex and global organisation
  • A curious and proactive mindset and the desire to fix and improve existing processes and systems
  • Experience of financial modelling and supporting the business in strategic decision-making
  • Self-motivated to learn new concepts and oriented towards achieving results
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting
