Job Title: Interim CFO (6-Month Contract)

About the Company:
We are exclusively partnering with a rapidly growing Private Equity-backed Professional Services business generating £70M in ARR. The company is poised for further expansion and is seeking an experienced Interim CFO to provide strategic leadership and operational stability for a 6-month period, with the potential for a permanent position thereafter.
Role Overview:
As the Interim CFO, you will play a pivotal role in driving key initiatives and ensuring the continued success of the business. Reporting directly to the CEO and Founder, you will be responsible for leading high-impact projects that will shape the future of the finance function. This is a hands-on, strategic leadership role suited for an experienced mid-market Private Equity CFO with a track record in companies with a recurring revenue model.
Key Responsibilities:
- ERP Transformation: Lead and manage an end-to-end ERP transformation (NetSuite) to drive operational efficiency, data accuracy, and scalability.
- Revenue Recognition Project: Oversee a comprehensive revenue recognition project to ensure compliance and optimize financial reporting processes.
- Finance Team Leadership: Drive performance, development, and growth across a newly established finance team, building a strong, high-performing department.
- Strategic Leadership: Work closely with the CEO & Founder to align financial strategy with business goals, providing financial insights and guidance on key decision-making processes.
- Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with investors, senior leadership, and other key stakeholders, ensuring transparent and effective communication around financial performance and strategic initiatives.
Key Requirements:
- Proven Experience: Extensive experience as a CFO within mid-market Private Equity-backed businesses, ideally with a focus on recurring revenue models (Professional S, SaaS, subscription-based, etc.).
- ERP Transformation Expertise: Strong background in leading ERP transformations, ideally within high-growth businesses. NetSuite experience would be advantageous.
- Leadership & Emotional Intelligence: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop finance teams, with strong emotional intelligence and people leadership skills.
- Financial Acumen: In-depth knowledge of financial planning, reporting, analysis, and strategic decision-making processes.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.

- Location: London (with flexibility to work remotely for part of the week)
- Start Date: Immediate (or as soon as possible)
- Contract Duration: 6 months (with potential for permanent conversion)
