Job Title:
Associate Director - Corporate Finance & Capital Markets

A Private Equity backed developer, owner operator and service provider of data centres is looking to appoint an Associate Director - Corporate Finance.

As the Associate Director, you will build financial models for projects, but moreover, simplify those models to core criteria such that project value can be maximised for Customers and colleagues alike. You will be a highly valued and trusted member of an ambitious and hardworking team, in a business that continues to scale to new heights.

Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to

  • Work closely with the Development and Finance teams to define and implement a variety of sourcing and investment strategies.
  • Identify suitable funding solutions and implement them with appropriate funding partners.
  • Take responsibility for development of financial projections for opportunities. Review detailed financial analysis; take responsibility for development financial models, and valuation analysis in support of potential transactions and investment opportunities.
  • Coordinate the production of presentation material for senior management, board members, financial institutions and joint venture partners
  • Support in customer marketing and pricing proposals
  • Assistance in commercial negotiations with strategic partners or customers
  • Take ownership of end to end debt and equity financing processes, working with other team members to deliver positive outcomes for stakeholders

Required experience

  • At least 7 years or experience in Banking or finance with a focus on transaction execution
  • Experience in managing team members to achieve deliverables in a timely manner
  • Degree in areas such as Finance / Accounting / Economics / Engineering / Maths
  • Knowledge of infrastructure / real estate investment process preferred but not mandatory
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, proficient with Microsoft excel
  • Experience in financial modelling and investment appraisals. Ability to present results to senior stakeholders.
  • Desire to learn about the dynamics and trends of digital infrastructure
  • Flexible & dynamic - self-motivated, results driven, ability to deal with change
