£100,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Stanton House is working with a PE-backed professional services business who are looking for a Head of FP&A to join their team and report directly to the CFO. With a plan to exit over the coming years, the CFO needs a commercially astute number 2 to drive this function.

Operating across multiple jurisdictions, the company is currently experiencing a significant growth phase. This role will play a key part in driving financial integration and performance as the business continues its expansion through acquisitions.

This role will be largely remote, with occasional travel (once or twice a month) to the head office in the UK.

The Role:

  • Build the FP&A function from the ground up, including implementing financial systems and designing reporting frameworks.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to align with the company’s strategic objectives and growth plans.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop the datacube, preparing the business for exit readiness.
  • Oversee financial integration post-acquisition, ensuring all reporting is cohesive.
  • Develop financial models to support growth, refinancing, and M&A decision-making at the senior management level.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to senior leadership, driving performance and growth.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to track business performance against financial targets.

About you:

  • Proven experience in establishing or restructuring FP&A functions in multi-entity or international environments.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with exposure to M&A and private equity.
  • Familiarity with recurring model businesses, particularly in service or timesheet-based industries.
  • Expertise in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and post-acquisition integration.
  • Ability to provide strategic insights and communicate effectively with senior leadership.

Qualifications and Skills

  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified.
  • 3+ years of experience in M&A, corporate finance, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills, with proven experience in building a datacube.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
