Cloud Migration PM

My client is looking to hire a Cloud Migration Project Manager for a discreet piece of work for circa 6 hours a week.

This role could slot into a portfolio of work you are currently delivering. The client is considering moving from VMWare to Nutanix and require someone to support them with scoping out feasibility of this. This isn't a full feasability but rather more of a gap analysis to support them with this work. The role will include:

• Feasibility assesment - assessing and providing assurance on the ability to do this
• Providing comparison reports - which includes VMware compared to Nutanix and also Azure
• Risk analysis - providing support on what could go wrong, assessing problems and gaps
• Provide support on planning - guidelines on which workloads should be prioritised for migration, providing inputs useful to plan a migration, suggesting vendors and/or partners

The are looking for experience of the following:

• Hands on experience in migration programs to move workloads away from VMWare to Nutanix and cloud
• Project management experience within financial services
• Experience of supporting broader IT programmes
