Senior Commercial Finance Manager

Stanton House is recruiting a Senior Commercial Finance Manager to join one of our Tech Clients in London on a 6-month Contract. This role offers £500 per day (IR35 to be determined but likely falling outside). This role is hybrid working in office 2 days per week and the rest remotely.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a Finance Business Partner (FBP) to senior leadership, including Executive-level stakeholders.
• Provide commercial insight to support and challenge business decisions across the trading and commercial functions.
• Lead and deliver independent projects that drive change and add value across the business.
• Attend and contribute to trading calls, providing financial analysis and commercial input.
• Analyse customer journeys and identify opportunities for optimisation.
• Review and interpret commercial contracts with a strategic lens.
• Drive improvements in commercial strategy through data-driven insights.
• Continuously challenge the status quo to enhance performance and efficiency.
• Operate with autonomy, taking ownership of tasks and initiatives.
• Apply strong accounting knowledge to support robust financial decision-making.

To be suitable for this role you must have the following:

• Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Commercially-minded with strongFinance Business Partner (FBP) experience.
• Thrive in fast-paced, trading-focused environments and enjoy challenging the norm.
• Experience in business partnering with senior stakeholders, including executive-level ones.
• Can confidently run projects independently and drive change.
• Bring a proactive, hands-on approach and don't wait to be told what to do.
• Have a solid grasp of accounting principles and how they apply commercially.
