Job Title: Data Analyst – Finance System Integration
Contract: Full-time, 3 months initially with a view to extend
Location: Mostly remote with 1 day a week from their West London Office

About Us:
We are working with a successful mid-sized organisation currently undergoing a crucial finance systems integration project with DataRails, and we're looking for an experienced Data Analyst (Integration Specialist) to join them. The goal is to have the system live by January 1st, 2024, and your expertise will be key in ensuring a smooth transition.
The Role:
As the Data Analyst, you will be responsible for the full implementation of DataRails, managing the integration from their current Excel-based setup, and ensuring a seamless process. You'll work autonomously, directly with DataRails and key internal stakeholders, validating data from Xero, handling P&L and balance sheet reporting, and ensuring data security throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data cleaning and integrity – ensure accuracy by performing meticulous data cleaning activities
- Work with Data models and databases to support system integration
- Extract relevant data from various sources (Xero, Templates, Salesforce) and transform it for seamless integration
- Create detailed documentation of data models and designs to facilitate the migration process
- Manage the full integration and implementation of DataRails
- Validate data imports from Xero, ensuring accuracy in financial reports (P&Ls, balance sheets, etc.
- Autonomously handle tasks and issues, with minimal oversight, working closely with DataRails.
- Facilitate reporting structures, data validation, and system security
- Provide ongoing support and training for staff during the implementation phase
Skills & Experience Required:
- Experience dealing with large amounts of data and translating that into actionable insights and presentational templates
- Experience in finance systems implementation, particularly with DataRails or similar Excel-based tools
- Strong understanding of balance sheets, P&L, and data validation
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of the project
- Experience in finance or accounting roles, with knowledge of financial reporting structures
- Comfortable working in a medium-sized company environment, with direct interaction with senior leadership (including the CEO)
