Head of FP&A
Head of FP&A - PE backed Fintech 

Stanton House are partnering with a rapidly growing FinTech who are looking to appoint a Head of FP&A. Our clients core mission is to revolutionise the way individuals save and grow their money, leveraging innovation and technology.

Earlier this year, the business secured significant investment providing the opportunity to expand operations and cater to an ever-increasing customer base. The business is thriving, making this an exciting time to join a highly profitable organisation on an upwards trajectory.

As the Head of FP&A, you will report to the CFO and work closely together to deliver outstanding financial analysis and insight. You will own and drive the budgeting and forecasting processes for the business as well as managing the financial model that is used to drive business strategy and decision making over investments, capital deployment and cash flow management.

You will be the pivotal point of contact for the business on financial planning and the go to person to answer questions on what sits behind the numbers to drive performance.

What you’ll need;
  • You will have ability to operate in a fast-paced environment combining this with a positive and innovative attitude, constantly looking to improve understanding and drive performance.
  • Experience in an FP&A role, ideally in a scale up technology led business.
  • An exceptional financial modeller with the ability to understand, create and develop integrated financial models – front office M&A experience preferred
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
  • Experience in data demanding environments with the curiosity to understand performance and support the business to grow.
  • Strong financial acumen, with a deep understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically, anticipate challenges, and drive innovative solutions.
  • Able to ‘roll up your sleeves’ when needed, and be comfortable working as part of the team as well as working autonomously.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience of leading and developing people is advantageous as the business and team will scale.

Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to;
  • Management of the company financial model and responsibility for supporting decision making by modelling the future impact on the P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow.
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimize financial performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiencies and identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost optimization.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the development of financial technologies across the business including the implementation of a new EPM tool.
