AMS Lead

We are looking for an experienced Lead AMS Transition professional to drive the successful transition of our clients Application Management Services (AMS). This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to assess application requirements, define the application scope, and develop a robust transition plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse Application Requirements: Evaluate the current application landscape, including business impact, complexity, and dependencies.
• Manage Application Scope: Define and document the scope of applications to be transitioned, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Develop a Feasible Transition Plan: Collaborate with stakeholders and third-party providers to create a structured and risk-mitigated transition roadmap.
• Knowledge Transfer & Transition Execution: Partner with the third-party provider to facilitate comprehensive knowledge transfer, ensuring a smooth handover and long-term operational stability.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with business units, IT teams, and external partners to manage expectations and drive successful outcomes.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience leading Application Management Services (AMS) transitions to third-party providers.
• Strong understanding of application landscapes, business impact assessments, and knowledge transfer processes.
• Ability to manage complex application portfolios and define clear transition strategies.
• Experience working with outsourced IT service providers and managing vendor relationships.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and project leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on minimizing business disruption.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with enterprise applications, cloud services, and AMS best practices.
• Previous experience in large-scale IT transitions.
