Finance Manager

My client a PE backed global leader in professional services, who are dedicated to providing exceptional service and innovative solutions. They seek a talented Finance Manager to join the team and lead on the Revenue and Intercompany accounting functions.

Position Overview

The Finance Manager will oversee accounting and financial reporting for Revenue and Intercompany transactions, managing a team of four under the Group Financial Controller. This role provides insight into the insurance services sector and also leadership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting and reporting for Revenue and Intercompany transactions.
• To continuously improve accounting and finance operational processes and practices.
• Lead and develop a team of four, ensuring high performance.
• To own the month end accounting process, supporting the Group Financial Controller, to deliver month end on time and to the highest standard.
• To undertake monthly variance analysis, feeding into the FP&A team to support them in providing insightful financial information to key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the shared service centre in India for timely operations.
• Conduct financial analysis and reconciliations to maintain data integrity.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, offering technical guidance.

Requirements

• Essential ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Financial analysis and reconciliation skills.
• Advanced Excel proficiency; SAP preferred.
• Continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent communication skills.
