An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and commercially astute Chief Financial Officer to join a fast-growing, private equity-backed Professional Services Business.

This is a pivotal role for a hands-on finance leader who thrives in a high-growth, results-driven environment and can drive financial and strategic initiatives to maximise value creation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the financial strategy, planning, and analysis to support business growth and PE investor objectives.
• Drive operational efficiencies and profitability improvements, ensuring strong financial controls and cash flow management.
• Partner with the CEO and leadership team to execute M&A transactions, integration strategies, and business scaling.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, providing insightful financial analysis to inform decision-making.
• Manage relationships with banks, lenders, and private equity stakeholders, ensuring compliance with covenant requirements.
• Implement and enhance financial systems, controls, and ERP solutions to support a scalable finance function.
• Lead due diligence, risk management, and compliance in a regulated environment.
• Build and develop a high-performing finance team to support the company's ambitious growth plans.

Key Requirements:

• Experienced CFO with a track record in a private equity-backed, professional services high-growth business.
• Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to challenge, influence, and drive strategic decisions.
• Expertise in M&A, integration, and value creation, ideally within a PE-backed environment.
• Proven success in cash flow management, cost optimisation, and operational finance transformation.
• Experience working with investors, lenders, and external stakeholders, including private equity partners.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and develop finance teams in a fast-paced setting.
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a strong technical background.
