Finance Manager

Finance Manager (Customs) - Large Logistics Business (Hybrid, 3 Days in Office)

Are you a results-driven Finance Manager with strong experience in reporting and business partnering? We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our clients team within a leading logistics business. This role offers a hybrid working model, with 3 days in the office and the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week. This role had a diverse set of responsibilities across month end, financial reporting, Finance Business partnering and data management.

Salary - £65,000 - £75,000 (Depending on experience) + bonus and benefits

Location - Central London

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial month end reporting and compliance, ensuring all key processes are effectively managed and documented.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliations, maintaining strong governance and risk management.
  • Manage financial reconciliations for key accounts, investigating discrepancies and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance financial processes and reporting standards.
  • Business partner a variety of stakeholders to drive financial performance
  • Support billing and revenue assurance activities, ensuring accurate invoicing and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making and commercial teams.
  • Drive continuous process improvements, identifying and resolving inefficiencies in financial operations.
  • Maintain robust financial controls for complex transactions, ensuring adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
  • Support senior leadership with strategic financial planning and forecasting.

Key Requirements:

  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a finance role, ideally within a large organisation
  • Previous experience in month end including P&L oversight, balance sheet reconciliations and cash flow reporting.
  • Strong understanding of financial controls, reporting, and compliance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
  • Strong leadership and communication abilities, with a proven ability to collaborate across teams and external partners.
