£60,000 - £70,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits + Hybrid working

A dynamic and fast-growing mobile network provider is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join its Centre of Excellence for Commercial Finance. This company has an agile work culture and fosters a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

About the Role

As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting business growth by providing financial decision support and partnering with key stakeholders. You will be responsible for evaluating pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and customer retention initiatives to drive profitable growth. The role involves financial modelling, business case development, and optimisation of customer value. You will be working closely with the Commercial teams responsible for revenue and cost management as well as the wider Finance team, including FP&A, Financial Control, and Commercial Finance. This role involves extensive business partnering with the senior leadership team and cross-functional business units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with key stakeholders to develop strategies for customer upgrades, retention, and promotional offers.
  • Analyse customer base and churn trends to identify value drivers and optimisation opportunities.
  • Conduct post-investment reviews to evaluate business decisions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Optimise costs by identifying key cost drivers and collaborating with commercial teams.
  • Contribute to prioritising initiatives, influencing decision-making to maximise business value.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities for P&L and cash flow management.
  • Enhance governance around financial decisions and drive accountability across teams.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • Proven experience in partnering with non-finance stakeholders to drive results.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights effectively.
  • Ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels.
  • Resilient, proactive, and passionate about driving business performance.
  • Experience in evaluating options and generating value through financial insights.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with an understanding of agile and lean principles.
