Head of Reporting & Technical Accounting for Global Outsourcing business in London!

£100,000 - £110,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Hybrid Working

As the Head of Reporting and Technical Accounting, you will play a key role in overseeing financial reporting for the company's international operations across 100+ countries, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS. You will lead a team, support global finance teams, and liaise with the US parent company to ensure the integrity of financial statements.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee monthly consolidated financial reporting to the US parent company
  • Ensure IFRS-compliant consolidated financial statements
  • Advise local entities on complex accounting matters (revenue recognition, lease & acquisition accounting)
  • Lead technical training & research accounting issues under US GAAP/IFRS
  • Manage statutory audits and liaise with external auditors globally
  • Drive a strong financial control environment across the international group
  • Collaborate with senior finance leaders, tax, legal, and treasury teams

What We're Looking For

  • Fully qualified accountant, ACA/ACCA with Big 4 experience
  • Experience of working for an international, listed organisation
  • Strong experience in group consolidations (US GAAP preferred, IFRS essential)
  • Strong stakeholder management experience and experience of partnering stakeholders internationally
  • Expertise in researching & writing technical accounting papers
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills
  • A self-starter with strong project management skills
  • Meticulous in nature with a high attention to detail
