Job Title: Finance Project Manager
Location: Nottingham (Hybrid - 1 to 2 days per week in the office)

Salary: £75,000 - £80,000 per annum
About the Role
Stanton House is working closely with a client seeking an experienced Finance Project Manager to lead the successful implementation of a HR, Payroll & Finance ERP system within a fast-growing organisation. This is a key role requiring a strong accountancy background, ensuring a deep understanding of financial processes and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of the HR, Payroll & Finance ERP system, ensuring successful delivery within scope, timeline, and budget.
- Collaborate closely with finance, HR, IT, and external vendors to align project objectives with business needs.
- Develop and manage project plans, including key milestones, risk assessments, and stakeholder communication strategies.
- Act as the primary liaison between finance and technology teams to ensure system integration meets financial reporting and compliance requirements.
- Oversee data migration, testing, and user training to ensure a smooth transition to the new ERP system.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting during and after implementation to maximise system efficiency and adoption.
- Work closely with senior finance leadership to explore opportunities for expanding responsibilities into core finance functions post-implementation.
Key Requirements
- Strong finance and accounting background (ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualification preferred).
- Proven experience in finance-related project management, particularly in ERP or financial system implementations.
- In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, and best practices in accounting and payroll processes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience working within HR, Payroll, and Finance ERP systems such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details into business-friendly language.
