Financial Director - Financial Reporting and Compliance (Projects)
Location: London (Hybrid - 4 days on site, 1 from home)
Employment Type: 18-month contract

Stanton House is looking for a Finance Director - Compliance and Financial Reporting Project for an 18-month contract to strengthen financial compliance across a global PE backed organisation.

About the Role:

You will lead the development of financial policies, oversee data quality controls, and collaborate with global teams to standardise financial processes. Your expertise will be key in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

-Develop and maintain an accounting manual and finance policies to drive compliance.
-Establish and manage an online repository for finance-related documentation.
-Conduct data quality checks to align local financial mappings with global standards.
-Collaborate with subsidiary markets to identify and rectify reporting discrepancies.
-Provide expert advice on financial compliance and regulatory alignment.
-Support transformation initiatives by embedding compliance and controls in global projects.
-Act as a liaison between finance, compliance, and transformation teams.
-Lead training programs on finance policies and compliance requirements.
-Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices.

What We're Looking For:

-12+ years of financial reporting and compliance experience, including 7+ years post-qualification (PQE).
-Strong expertise in financial compliance, policy development, and accounting standards.
-Proven track record in global change projects and working across multiple markets.
-Experience with financial reporting systems, data quality controls, and mapping financial data.
-Exceptional stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
-Strong communication and project management abilities.
-Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent preferred.
-IPO readiness experience would be useful.

Preferred Skills:

-Experience in multinational corporations or organisations with complex financial structures.
-Knowledge of digital finance policy management solutions.
-Proficiency in financial systems and data governance tools.
