Job Title:
FP&A Analyst

Stanton House are working with a well known Retail Business, who have recently gone through a major pivot in the market space. Working with the Director of FP&A the FP&A Analyst will partner with department Heads and C-Suit to look at where the business can make be more profitable.

Role: FP&A Analyst

Contract: FTC 9 months
Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 (depending on experience)

Location: 1 day a week in the office, split between Hounslow and Central London

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Financial Models
  • Build and develop Management packs
  • Preparing executive presentations, scenario planning, and supporting long-term strategic initiatives to ensure financial stability and scalability.
  • As an FP&A Analyst you will be responsible for supporting the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to drive strategic decision-making and business growth
  • Provided variance analysis, and identified key trends to support senior leadership in making data-driven decisions.
  • Conduct financial analysis to provide insight into business performance, identify trends, and highlight areas of opportunity or concern
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely management accounts and related business reporting to support management in operational planning and decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various Head of finance to optimize financial performance, improve cost efficiency, and enhance revenue forecasting accuracy.
  • Streamlined reporting processes, implement automation tools, and provided insightful analysis to drive operational improvements.


Essential experience & skills
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)

  • Ideally you will have come from Big 4: Deal, Corporate Finance, Transactional Services or Restructuring
  • Used to working in an environment undergoing significant change

  • Able to hit the ground running and operate independently
  • Strong excel modelling skills - has built and maintained complex models in excel
